Why Azub? - advantages of our recumbents
Before we started to create and produce recumbents, we had spent many hours riding mounting bikes. We had enjoyed riding in landscape, appreciating the easy way of driving, a cutting-edge ergonometrics and a wide range of set-up.Then we have found an inspiration by recumbents and they have become the only one possible mean of transport with pedals for us. And since we have started with the first one, we were focused on one goal: how to combine the advantages of a recumbent with the qualities of MTB. Now we are happy with them.
The adjustability of all Azub bikes is really unbeatable, you can set it up within seconds and without any tools and get the right position up to your needs and to your particular condition.
The location of all control elements, especially breaks and gears, is completely in accordance with the ergonometrics, the particular elements were made for. This provides you with a big steering control and enables you to react in all situations that can occure as quick as possible.
It is just the high level of adjustability and consequent ergonometrics that made it possible for us to develop Azub Max Hard Core, a type that is especially convenient for a wild landscape biking, taking the fences in a city or showing off some new tricks on your recumbent. It does not really matter what situation are you in, you have your Azub bike always under control.

Thats the reason why we create our bikes the way to use them easy both in city traffic and on a long journey, just for you to have a lot of fun, whatever you do with your bike.
IPS - Ideal Position System
If you feel inspired by recumbents just as we are you will definitely feel you need to share them with your relatives, friends and people you know and show it off to all admirers of your engine. But what if they are 20 cm smaller or taller than you are? Thats why we have developed a systm how to adjust the frame, seat and other parameters to the user. We call it IPS, i.e. Ideal Position System.The most important thing is the position of the seat that can be changed without any tools, just with two clamping devices. This adjustment enables a change in lenght up to 13 cm and hight up to 6 cm. Other parameters that can be changed are following:
- seat slope (17)
- front boom (200 mm)
- you can use under seat steering or above seat steering
- the handle-bars can be set up to get the best position
- the radius of turning can be set up (when using the under seat steering)
